At Steepleton Manor we feel it is important to be able to respond to our client’s changing needs and wishes, so we keep an open mind on our daily schedule. You can choose from a wide range of recreational, cultural and social activities.
Here’s a brief account of a day in the summer this year from our Activities Coordinator.
“The weather was hot and sunny for our day trip to Bicton which was enjoyed by 19 residents and carers of the Manor. An excellent lunch was prepared for us and we received V.I.P treatment from the Proprietor who joined us for lunch and arranged for us all to travel around the gardens. We then visited the Agricultural Museum and the gift shop before returning to the restaurant for a cream tea. We have visited a lot of interesting places for our day trips and now we look forward to a visit to the New Forest this month. At Steepleton we are quite fond of art and we were pleased to have had some interest by the local community in our art exhibition, which was held last month. Like everything else at Steepleton Manor we have enjoyed many pleasant summer evenings and look forward to October when our evenings of entertainment begin again”
